Hello everyone,

We are currently deciding on the interior doors and have a question about the RAL color tone. We have already chosen smooth white HGM doors. Now the question is, RAL 9016 or RAL 9010?

The windows (PVC) are similar to 9016 on the inside, but the switches (GIRA) are only available in 9010...

Which RAL tone would best match the doors?

The baseboards would also need to be adjusted accordingly...
We plan to have white baseboards (painted wood) to go with white-oiled oak parquet flooring.

I would appreciate hearing about your experiences with these two RAL tones.

9010 is too much, 9016 is very snow white. 9010 is a bit softer. Almost all furniture paint and baseboards are also 9010. 9016 is such a white that a lot of titanium dioxide has to be added to the paint, and it still tends to yellow slightly.

Exactly. Color fastness is another issue: whether Ariel or Persil makes whites brighter might still be debatable with the color chart when new. But over time, white wood and white plastic will always age differently, no matter how perfectly they were matched initially.

Great... thank you very much for the information! So the doors will be ordered in 9010...
