ᐅ FACTUM drawer dampers (2007)

I am in the process of modernizing my IKEA Faktum kitchen from 2007, focusing especially on soft-closing features. I have already upgraded the soft-closing for the base cabinet doors, and now I am working on the drawers.

Before placing a larger order and risking that it might not fit, am I on the right track?

Hello, you cannot use the dampers. Could you please also take a photo of the other end of the rail, specifically the part that is attached to the cabinet?

The drawers date from 2006 or earlier. It is not possible to simply retrofit dampers.

Thanks for the tip, IKEA expert! Are these exactly the MAXIMERA dampers that come with the set? Is MAXIMERA still being sold currently? If so, you should still be able to buy them "regularly" at IKEA, right?

In the instructions for MAXIMERA drawers on page 3, top right, I found the two dampers: 144258 and 144259.

Is this correct?

Thank you, IKEA expert, the tip about customer service was invaluable. IKEA sent me two dampers free of charge. Now the entire kitchen is soft-closing.
