Hello, dear helpers, the door of my display cabinet does not catch at the top when it is open. The adjustment screw (picture with the weights – how is this supposed to be understood??) also does not make the door stay open when opened. The soft-closing function works. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Hello,

this is basically quite unusual since the cabinets are already pre-adjusted and actually need to be reset. In other words, the doors almost open by themselves and should be adjusted to be "lighter." The screw is there to regulate this opening. Have you tried turning it? If it doesn’t work at all, no matter which way you turn it, please visit your carpenter or handyman and ask them to show you in person. Explaining this here would be too complicated; it really needs to be seen.

Best regards.

Hello, when replacing the hinges, adjusting the glass display cabinet door works very well with a cordless drill. You often have to turn it quite a bit to the left until the door stays open in the desired position. Thanks for the tips. N.
