Hi ....does anyone have experience with electrical appliances that are not from Ikea? This week we purchased a new Metod kitchen and also a new Bauknecht dishwasher. Now the sales representative says it won’t fit. I’m a bit concerned.... according to the information sheet, the dishwasher is about 90cm (35 inches) high....

if the appliance is 86cm (34 inches) high, the Stefan method might work (see thread Dishwasher Fronts).
If not,
a) semi-integrated appliance: try installation with ERSÄTTARE
b) fully integrated appliance: if the front is usually attached to the door with three screws, install using BEHJÄJLPLIG. If it is attached differently, find your own solution to secure BEHJÄJLPLIG.
c) if possible, exchange for an XXL machine from Siemens / Bosch with Varioscharnier.

Thank you for your quick help. The issue basically concerns the installation height of the dishwasher. We specifically purchased one with a stainless steel front to avoid any problems. The brochure stated about 90 cm (35 inches), but the salesman confused me, so I researched again and found out that the dishwasher height is adjustable from 82 to 90 cm (32 to 35 inches). Therefore, it should fit after all, since the cabinets are 80 cm (31.5 inches) tall and have 8 cm (3 inches) legs.
