Hello everyone,

our house construction is progressing, and I wanted to share the current layout of the bathroom on the upper floor and ask for comments or suggestions for improvement.
The original idea was to have two separate washbasins/mirrors. The floor plan can no longer be changed, except the bathroom width can possibly be extended to 3 m (10 feet). There are no sloped ceilings.
Due to the narrow, elongated layout, I find it difficult to create space for two washbasins...
The long side is 5 m (16 feet), the narrow side is 2.76 m (9 feet).

Thank you very much for your feedback.

Regards,
Mathias

The shower could be even larger – I’m thinking of a wall 150cm (59 inches) long and a passage 70cm (28 inches) wide...

Hello,

yes, that’s right, working with varying tiles could also be a good option.
Today, my wife and I visited the construction site again. Unfortunately, moving the door onto the sloped wall is not possible.

So the door will stay on the narrow side.

I have also drawn a few more versions myself, of course inspired by Yvonne’s sketches. Unfortunately, I can’t upload them right now and keep getting an error message.

What kind of window is that?

The bathtub will not fit!

Again: what kind of window is that, and how many people is the bathroom intended for?
