nata123452 Oct 2015 19:49Hello everyone,
I have to say 100 times how great I find this forum, as I am getting help here. Today, after a few days' break, we got back to working on our kitchen and are totally frustrated. We have a cabinet that is 211 cm (83 inches) tall (or actually 195 cm (77 inches)), with the Räkall refrigerator inside. We have all the fronts matching: 60x35 cm (24x14 inches), 60x90 cm (24x35 inches), and the 70 cm (28 inches) door. We screwed everything together nicely and then noticed there is a gap of a good 1 cm (0.4 inches) between the 90 cm (35 inches) and 70 cm (28 inches) door. The cabinet is level (checked a thousand times 🙂). Are we doing something wrong? The 70 cm (28 inches) door is not really a proper 70 cm (28 inches) door, just a normal door for base cabinets — or was there ever a proper 70 cm (28 inches) door for the Faktum system that is actually 70 cm (28 inches) long? Is the gap normal? We are really desperate — I would love to finally have a kitchen that I can actually use.
Looking forward to your advice!
Thank you very much,
Natasa

are the distances from the hinges to the top and bottom edges of the door equal, or are the hinge holes in the door symmetrical?
