ᐅ Apartment entrance door gap is 14mm too wide

At the bottom of the entrance door to my new apartment, there is a gap measuring 14mm (0.55 inches), which naturally allows strong drafts to enter. The door was installed as part of a newly built apartment. I suspect that the professional cut the door too much. I have reported the defect and would like to know whether, in such a case, the door needs to be completely reordered. There is also a rubber seal installed at the bottom, which is hanging freely in the air.
Thank you very much for any advice.

Thank you for the tips. I’ve noticed something else. My contract specifies a solid core door with RC2 security rating. Does an RC2 door have to have multiple locking points? Mine only has one lock. RC2 means: "These components prevent forced entry using simple leverage tools like screwdrivers, pliers, or wedges for at least three minutes." I can’t find any information on how many locking points are required to meet the RC2 standard.

Actually, indirectly yes, you wrote yourself:

And that means: there are enough locking points if it takes at least three minutes to break in. Depending on the materials and construction, the exact number can vary.

Having only one locking cylinder in one lock does not necessarily indicate the type or number of bolts. There can still be several bolts operated not only by the latch but also by the locking mechanism itself.

I just hope the door hasn’t been paid for yet. From my experience, once payment is made, defect reports tend to be handled unsatisfactorily. In your case, they will probably just add a strip underneath the door to attach the rubber seal.
Fingers crossed for you, and I hope you get a new door.

Best regards,
