Hello!
I'll start.
Heated area 200m2 (2,153 sq ft)
KfW 55 standard
Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery
Current outdoor temperature 6°C (43°F)
Heating energy consumption including hot water 35 kWh
Electricity consumption 9 kWh
COP 3.88

What do you mean? I don’t understand your post.

Last January and February, there were weeks where the total household energy consumption was around 400 kWh per week. That included daily charging of the electric car on weekdays (7 kWh), open ERRs, and a heating curve set to 30/21/0.

I just don’t understand why your house runs at 28/21/0, while we have similar indoor temperatures. Upstairs is 20-21°C (68-70°F), ground floor 22-23°C (72-73°F), basement 17°C (63°F) with heating off. It can’t be just the windows, and if it is, then the building materials would be a factor as well.

So this brings us back to the idea of turning off the basement heating.

That would be interesting to know. Could you share a thermal energy usage graph?

Yes, I will. I just reset it. The heat pump has just started up now. Tomorrow at 8 PM, I will note down the heat amount.

Or is the heat amount shown in the data? Then I could even use yesterday’s value directly.

Okay, I'll give it a try as well, and then we can compare notes 🙂

I'm not really sure about the data. Does the photovoltaic system factor into the values? It looks really good with @Zaba12. Could it be that it’s already close to KfW40 standard?

Edit: What is the U-value (heat transfer coefficient) of your building envelope, @Zaba12?
