Hello everyone,

we got stuck on the kitchen planning and found something nice.
Now the only question is whether to reduce the size of the entrance hall by 10cm (4 inches). Our shoe cabinet is only 18cm (7 inches) deep anyway.

It is drawn at 1.54m (5 ft 1 in). Do you think 1.44m (4 ft 9 in) would be too narrow?
If you subtract the 18cm (7 inches) for the shoe cabinet, it is even only 1.26m (4 ft 1 in) wide.

Thanks for your advice.

So 1.44cm (0.57 inches) or 1.26cm (0.50 inches) would be way too little for me 😉

Just kidding 🙂 can you even open the attachment? Or is it also that small for you? 🙂

Unfortunately, your attachment is too small – not just for me, but for others as well.

If it’s just an entry vestibule and there is a separate (wider) hallway, then it might work. Ours is about 130cm (50 inches) now, but we only have 160cm (63 inches) in length, and then it opens into the living area. It works... even with a shelf... we have a narrow, tall shelf right next to the front door. However, in the new house, I’m deliberately going for 2 meters (79 inches) because I don’t like the tightness. But everything will be open, no vestibule and no separate hallway (which we don’t need).

So it really depends on your overall floor plan, which we can’t see here 😉

No, there will be no separate entrance anymore. The 1.54m (5 feet) was personally fine for me, but my better half prefers a larger kitchen. I don’t understand why the attachment is displayed so small. Typical Apple 🙂

I work exclusively with Apple products and don’t experience these issues; so the problem must be on your end.
