Hello everyone,
we got stuck on the kitchen planning and found something nice.
Now the only question is whether to reduce the size of the entrance hall by 10cm (4 inches). Our shoe cabinet is only 18cm (7 inches) deep anyway.
It is drawn at 1.54m (5 ft 1 in). Do you think 1.44m (4 ft 9 in) would be too narrow?
If you subtract the 18cm (7 inches) for the shoe cabinet, it is even only 1.26m (4 ft 1 in) wide.
Thanks for your advice.

The dimensioning is very unclear and should always be placed outside on construction drawings...
I also don’t see any load-bearing element in the middle, or is the ceiling spanning from outer wall to outer wall?
Are the floor tiles being laid in a basketweave pattern?
Do you know what a basketweave pattern is? (Please look it up)
Basketweave refers to a masonry bond; the correct term in the specifications for your floor tile installation would be "with joint alignment."

Hello,
a large entrance area was an important criterion for us when choosing the floor plan. We definitely did not want to have that cramped feeling again when entering through the door, and we also needed enough space for coat and shoe cabinets. I also consider that tiny hallway a serious mistake, sorry. Wouldn’t you consider redesigning? Good luck!
