Some of these screws are worn out or damaged. Now I am looking for suitable replacement screws because I would prefer not to replace the entire shelf board.

Typically, KALLAX furniture uses screws with a diameter of 4 mm and a length between 25 and 35 mm (1 and 1.4 inches), depending on whether the screw goes through the shelf board into the crossbeam or dowel.

1. Measure the original screw precisely (length and thread type).
2. At typical hardware stores, stainless steel or galvanized screws are often the preferred choice since they are more durable than the original screws made of softer steel.
