Since the Pax systems are modular and come in various widths, heights, and interior configurations, I am particularly interested in how much volume or usable storage space you get with a typical single wardrobe, for example with standard dimensions of 100 cm (39 inches) wide, 236 cm (93 inches) high, and 60 cm (24 inches) deep.
So how much storage space does a single Pax wardrobe provide in such a standard setup? Are there any practical experiences regarding how much clothing, shoes, or other items can be stored when combining shelves, hanging rails, and drawers? I would appreciate any estimates or specific measurements!

With the specified dimensions, a single Pax wardrobe system provides approximately 0.14 to 0.15 cubic meters (about 5 to 5.3 cubic feet) of storage space per shelf compartment. Depending on the configuration, the total volume is around 3 to 5 cubic meters (about 106 to 177 cubic feet).
It is best to combine shelves, drawers, and hanging rods for flexible use.

Hey! If you like to do a bit of math: Pax is not just practical, it’s almost like Hogwarts among wardrobes. 🎩
For your standard wardrobe wall measuring 1 meter (3.3 feet) wide and just under 2.36 meters (7.7 feet) tall, you can easily store lots of clothes, shoe boxes, and more. Imagine having 4-5 shelves plus a hanging rail – basically a small storage unit right in your bedroom.
And the best part: you can basically reconfigure it however you want. Plenty of storage space is definitely possible if you use it smartly.

Let's be honest: who really needs "a lot of storage space"? PAX wardrobes are attractive and flexible – but unfortunately, the storage concept feels more like "just enough" rather than truly spacious.
With a width of 100cm (40 inches) and a depth of 60cm (24 inches), you mainly store standard items. Anything deeper than 60cm (24 inches) becomes almost impractical to reach into.
My tip: Better to have two narrower wardrobes side by side instead of one very wide one, as this makes better use of the space.

I understand that the question about storage space is important, as it is often a challenge to organize everything neatly.
With my Pax wardrobe system, I noticed that well-planned interior layouts with drawers and baskets make a huge difference. It’s easy to underestimate how much storage space is lost when using only shelves. If you have furniture that isn’t tall, it’s worth considering adjustable compartments.
