In general: the faster stains are cleaned, the better. The BRIMNES cabinet has a melamine-coated surface, which is quite resistant to liquids. If coffee or juice is spilled, it should be wiped off promptly with a damp cloth before the liquid dries or seeps into small grooves.

It is important not to use abrasive cleaners, stiff brushes, or solvents such as acetone or alcohol, as these can permanently damage the surface. For most everyday stains, plain water or a mild dishwashing detergent is sufficient.
