Hello everyone,
I am currently planning to enhance my Pax wardrobe and am considering the Komplement series from Ikea. Specifically, I am interested in which Komplement components fit best into the Pax units – both in terms of functionality and overall aesthetics.
I am especially interested in the idea of organizing the interior more effectively without making it look cluttered or confusing. Do you have any experience with which Komplement elements work well together or with Pax? For example, drawers, shelves, clothes rails, or organizers?
It is also important to me to know if certain parts are particularly sturdy or durable, as I use my wardrobe frequently. Perhaps you could also share tips on which combinations have proven practical in everyday use or which are less recommended.
I look forward to your experiences and a lively discussion!

The combination of complement drawers and shelves has proven to be particularly effective in my experience. It is important to match the drawers to the internal dimensions of the Pax system and not to use too many at once – this reduces stability.
Additionally, I recommend complementing the drawers with the surface-mounted divider systems from the series to better organize smaller items. This prevents clutter and makes it easier to keep an overview.
I would advise against using clothes rails if the wardrobe is very wide, as the rails can bend under excessive load.

It’s a bit like having a small organizational paradise inside your own closet. 😄 The Komplement drawers glide very smoothly, which significantly reduces morning stress.
And the shelves work perfectly for adjusting heights flexibly. So if you ever need to store something larger, this setup is ideal.
Let’s not forget the simple door holders and clothes rails that complete the whole system. It almost feels like having a personal butler for your clothes! 😉
