Hello fellow home builders,
we have started constructing a single-family house. The approved building permit / planning permission includes a gas heating system, which we still want to install.
There are two possible scenarios:
1. What happens if the heating system is installed in October 2023, but the house is only inspected and approved in February 2024?
2. What happens if the heating system is installed in January 2024, and the house is inspected and approved in May 2024?
Both options are difficult to plan for. So far, we do not know whether the construction schedule might be delayed.
I haven't found any information on this. Do you have any further details?

Proud of our education system, our healthcare system, our skilled workforce, and so on.
However, we have experienced a rapid decline. I see us standing before a huge pile of rubble. I don’t want to go into details because everyone can draw their own conclusions and form their own opinions. And, as always, there will be plenty of people who simply don’t see it or refuse to acknowledge it.
To subject everything now to an ideological climate shift is, in my opinion, wrong. Decisions that are understandable or reasonable, reflecting the views of broad parts of the population, are not being made. Instead, there is a persistent effort to re-educate us, to instill guilt and fear. Meanwhile, we are paralyzed by incompetence and bureaucracy. Nothing works anymore in Germany, no matter what you try.
The infrastructure is an absolute disaster. Electricity, communications, transportation — everything is outdated.
In recent days, I have seen videos of German influencers traveling to Japan or China. When you see those images and impressions, it’s clear we have long since fallen behind. While here we are still struggling to implement a unified payment system for electric vehicles, in China, batteries are swapped out on highways in 2 minutes.
But we are already working on the next set of restrictions. Now the EU wants to ban fossil fuel heating systems that have an efficiency below 115 percent. Is that even physically possible? That we would get more energy from a heater than we put in?
So, no worries, the nonsense continues!
This is not meant to be a sermon.

- According to the Ecodesign Regulation for space heaters and combination heaters, new heating systems with an efficiency below 115 percent are no longer allowed to be placed on the market. This means that at 100 percent input energy, at least 115 percent usable heat must be produced for the heating system to be marketed.
So, no worries, the nonsense continues!

Similar to Venus. The atmosphere there acts like a filter, with temperatures around 500 degrees Celsius (932 degrees Fahrenheit) and extreme air pressure.
It is believed that Venus once had Earth-like temperatures. It also experienced massive climate changes, but entirely without any human influence. This is called the greenhouse effect. Venus has a very dense atmosphere, mostly made up of greenhouse gases, and an extreme cloud cover. That’s why it is so hot there.
I have the feeling this might not be a great example right now for… um, what exactly?

No! Nothing has been disproven.
This is a belief based on information where, after passing through the media from the original sources, only nonsense remains—as is usual in such cases.
We are like in Trump’s America here: Alternative Facts. Masks have actually worked very, very well—that is confirmed by every doctor. Now that they no longer have to be worn, we are facing the consequences. As parents, we feel this strongly—none of our children, including ourselves, have ever been this often sick.

But yes, our system is barely holding up—it’s not because of the environment but because our system, exaggeratedly speaking, needs a certified professional just to replace a fuse.

But we are already working on the next tightening. Now the EU wants to ban fossil fuel heating systems that have less than 115 percent efficiency. By, for example, adding solar energy or combining with heat pumps that produce 4–5 kW of heat from 1 kW of electricity.

So, can we really get more energy out of a heating system than we put in? Heat pumps, of course. They deliver 4 units of energy for every 1 unit consumed.
But condensing boilers also have an efficiency rating above 100% in calculations. I had 110% in mind, but I suspect that nowadays they also exceed the mentioned threshold, especially when combined with renewable energy.

The masks add to this effect. I agree with you that masks had many negative impacts. Unfortunately, they provided no meaningful protection against infection.R
RotorMotor30 Apr 2023 08:32COVID causes illness, Long COVID causes prolonged illness. And that affects many people. Why do you think vaccination is harmful to you (except in individual cases)?
And which study claims that masks are not effective?
This meta-study cites only a few studies on COVID.
The first two linked studies mention a reduction.
Have you read (and understood) the studies?
And again, the most important question: what does this have to do with gas heating?
