we are about to complete the bathroom on the top floor of our new build. The pipes have already been installed going upwards. We have a laundry chute in that room. We would also like to install a shower, which would need to be positioned in a way that the laundry chute is integrated into it. Do you have any ideas on how to make the chute waterproof? Is this even possible?

My grandmother used to hang the laundry on a rotary clothesline in the garden. Nowadays, I don’t know anyone who does that anymore. And yes, we have a 20m2 (215 sq ft) laundry room, which is enough to properly hang 2-3 loads of laundry. The rest goes in the dryer, so what.

With so much space, you’re probably the exception.

I don’t know anyone who does that. And I wouldn’t have to walk either. 😉I also think it’s environmentally friendly, but I actually know very few people who still dry clothes outside (age, lack of motivation, no time, no garden, small garden).M

I don’t know anyone who doesn’t do it.
