Hello everyone,
we are about to complete the bathroom on the top floor of our new build. The pipes have already been installed going upwards. We have a laundry chute in that room. We would also like to install a shower, which would need to be positioned in a way that the laundry chute is integrated into it. Do you have any ideas on how to make the chute waterproof? Is this even possible?

with a cleaning lady the whole issue would have been resolved...No, it hasn’t been resolved. You wrote it a bit wrong. It should be written as cleaning__lady. 😉Fummelbrett! schrieb:
Alternative laundry chute light: size the stairwell opening large enough to throw laundry from the upper floor directly down to the ground floor/basement 😎Unfortunately, in our case, that would only work floor by floor ... 🙁But I’ve figured out the trick with laundry baskets by now. Since I have to go down to the basement in the morning anyway, where the laundry room is, my wife always places the baskets with dirty laundry clearly visible 😎
The reverse works in a similar way 🙂
And since this system works so well, I now often get my favorite fish sticks as a reward 😀 My wife is pretty clever...
Because we have an extra room on the upper floor, there are no piles of laundry left lying around until then.

If valuable square meters are wasted and strange constructions like a shaft in the shower are planned, then it’s probably not the hill worth fighting for.
