Hello dear forum members,
here is the first draft of our planned single-family home. I would appreciate your ideas, criticism, tips, and tricks. Sorry that dimensions and some furnishings are still missing. I am only interested in the rough floor plan for now.
Between the living and dining areas, there will be a fireplace or a decorative element serving as a room divider. In the pergola, which should have a solar glass roof, a pool is planned if the budget allows.
We plan to build using a construction manager or site supervisor with separate trade contracts, using solid construction methods.
Thank you very much for your opinions.

What I particularly like about the Bien-Zenker Concept M Wuppertal is the spacious entrance area and the front gallery with the large, light-filled window elements. Additionally, we find the living-dining area nicely divided, with the fireplace or its imitation and the kitchen layout. However, I think the room layout on the upper floor could be improved. haydee schrieb:
The Bien-Zenker Wuppertal is not included in your plans. Especially not the points you mentioned. This really borders on a Rorschach test for color spots, trying to see a copy of the Bien-Zenker Concept M Wuppertal with a modified upper floor in the draft shown here.

I'll try once moreA sauna you cannot lie down in, but which has a corner window. A hallway as narrow as a rifle barrel. A garage where even a BMW 5 Series or Mercedes E-Class bumps the license plate at the front. You really seem to recreate visuals completely without any sense of dimensions. If you were king, you would have the designer executed as soon as the (curtain) lock shines in its full glory. You don’t learn architecture in a quick driving course.https://www.instagram.com/11antgmxde/

I personally find the entrance area far from spacious, as you are faced with a long, narrow corridor upon entering.
Is the office even practical to furnish? It also appears quite narrow.
Upper floor: I think the layout of the parents' rooms is better this way, as it makes much more sense in my opinion (keyword: quiet).
However, unfortunately, there is also that long, narrow hallway here.
Gym without a window? Was a basement planned at all, or not?
Roof terrace: do you really think you will use the north-facing side and the side facing the street?
Edit: and on the other side, there is also a balcony... My experience/opinion: you won’t really use these if you have a garden. At most, the child might go there to smoke.
The distance from the children’s room to the children’s bathroom couldn’t be longer. Then the child doesn’t even have any peace there, because someone can still walk through the gym.

The floor plan has been revised again. The upper floor was almost completely changed. The bathrooms are located either above the utility room, the kitchen, or near the main entrance. The entire house was slightly compacted to save costs. In my opinion, without losing living comfort.
The utility room is still a bit too small for me. The storage room as well.
