Hello everyone...

After our first floor plan attempt failed completely, we worked with the architect to develop two more ground floor versions and one for the upper floor. I would like to know which ones you find good or bad, and what you generally like or dislike about the floor plans?! Also, the pantry door is drawn a bit oddly; it won’t actually look like that...

After all, you are properly compensated... although you are basically right... there comes a time when it’s enough... and there won’t be any more drawings... there is just the one fixed appointment left, the planning meeting... and that’s it then... thank goodness... I can’t look at any more floor plans

Just imagine the washing machine running a spin cycle next to the bedroom at 2:00 a.m., and you want to get up at 5:00 a.m.

@Marvinius how about gathering your thoughts first before hitting send? These 5 posts in a row can get quite "annoying" over time.

Why would anyone run a washing machine at 2:00 AM?

Although I am a man and therefore not the king of washing machines—that role usually goes to the queen—I have been married to her for over 32 years, together for 35, and our washing machine has never washed at two o’clock in the morning.

But the latest design turned out quite well: add a double door, possibly reduce the size of the guest bathroom, pay attention to the position of the bathtub, and swap the shower and toilet on the upper floor. Then you have a functional, good floor plan.

Exactly.

The idea of the laundry chute would be fine, but Ev probably doesn’t want to share the storage room on the ground floor with the laundry, and a walk-in closet is not necessary either.
It’s fine as it is!

It’s an almost good floor plan; at least in my opinion, the best has been achieved.
Fine-tuning is possible, but something good has come out for Ev’s needs.

If you now center the double door to the living room within the bay window, it will look more balanced. Then there will also be a nice cupboard space in the hallway in that corner.
