Hey,

maybe someone here can help me:

According to the construction specifications, a cold water tap and a surface-mounted drainage connection for the washing machine will be installed.

Here is my first question: Does anyone have a setup like this and could post a picture of the finished installation?

My plan is to extend this setup by adding a hot water connection. In the utility room, next to the washing machine, there will be a sink cabinet with a basin and another cabinet, all covered with a countertop. From my non-expert perspective, this should be relatively easy to install, right?

What price would you consider reasonable for this work?

Thanks for your feedback!

The tap is not a faucet like the ones used for sinks, but is solely intended for the washing machine. Therefore, it is usually installed lower down.

This means that an additional utility sink is an extra feature or involves a smaller additional cost since the cold water and wastewater pipes are already nearby.

However, this includes additional rough-in plumbing, a washing faucet, a sink (ceramic? steel in the utility room?), and a base cabinet with a countertop.

The base cabinet with countertop alone will cost around €1,500 (approximately $1,600) through a general contractor or plumbing supplier.
I estimate the total additional cost at about €2,000–2,500 (approximately $2,100–2,700), assuming inexpensive faucets and depending on how far the hot water source is.

Thank you, but without furniture. So really just the pipes, angle valves, so that I only need to install the sink and the faucet into the countertop myself and connect the flexible hoses.

In reality, just a few hundred euros (wiring, chases, plastering).

Because it is a change in scope, the initial price will probably be in the four-figure range...
Make inquiries, weigh your options, get back up, and decide if it’s worth it to you. Then feel free to update us here in the forum.

This is what the construction looks like:

Basically, the storage room (where the washing machine is) should look like the kitchen, but of course without the external water tap on the right:

Visible plumbing installation under the window: drain pipe, two valves, protective cover on the floor.
