Hello everyone, we are currently building our house with Town & Country and have chosen the standard plumbing package.
Is it possible to install matching vanity units under all the sinks, or do you have to buy everything as a complete set?
It should be possible, right? You would just need to pay attention to the dimensions, which I think are fairly standard?
Has anyone done this before? If so, could you please respond and maybe share some pictures?

Best regards

There is no actual connection between the washbasin and the vanity cabinet. So basically, everything will fit; the question is how tightly you can put them together and whether you like the visual impression.

But practically speaking: if you already have the drawing of the washbasin, take the drawing of your vanity cabinet as well and see if and how they can be combined.

There is no technical trick to what needs to fit together. Look at the point where the cabinet will touch the washbasin. Ideally, the deep cutout should fit into the cabinet. Then check where the trap (siphon) runs and if that works with the drawers.

Okay, thanks. I was told at the bathroom showroom that some manufacturers don’t like it if you source the cabinets from somewhere “different.” Hmm, I’ll take a look at the measurements then.

Be creative.

We discarded the sink; for that amount of money, I could have bought two.
The holes in the wall remain, so make sure you have a way to secure it properly.

This is how I solved it.

The base cabinet has a horizontal wooden crossbar at the back, which I drilled through and screwed together. The brackets are just an additional support.

Modern bathroom: wall-mounted toilet, white basin in black base cabinet, white tiles, dark floors.

Okay, did you also build with Town & Country? I don’t really see any reason to understand it either.
We’ll take a closer look at it.

It was just confusing to hear so many different opinions from various people.

I honestly don’t understand your problem. The holes are standard distances, and it’s no secret that general contractors often make things longer than necessary. So either get replacements at a hardware store like Bauhaus or IKEA, or go to a specialist retailer.

You want a washbasin with a vanity cabinet, so set the Town & Country frame accordingly. If there is a pre-wall, there must be a wooden panel behind it or threaded holes in a frame for the washbasin.

I should take more time when writing... What I’ve written here is really bad.
