Hello everyone...

After our first floor plan attempt failed completely, we worked with the architect to develop two more ground floor versions and one for the upper floor. I would like to know which ones you find good or bad, and what you generally like or dislike about the floor plans?! Also, the pantry door is drawn a bit oddly; it won’t actually look like that...

Your groceries have quite a long way to the kitchen or pantry.

You are blocking the exit at the bay window with the couch. Why? I would swap the kitchen and the guest room and place the dining table by the bay window.

You don't have to furnish the living room exactly like this, right? Otherwise, it’s practical. You can carry the shopping bags all the way to the pantry, and the boxes and cartons can be passed through the window.

By the way, why do what feels like 95% of people here prefer open kitchens? I would put up a wall, at least a three-quarter wall, with a corner for a small breakfast table for everyday toast. Karsten

With a ventilation system, an open kitchen should be fine, right?

We have a heat pump with heat recovery and ventilation.
