Hello everyone...

After our first floor plan attempt failed completely, we worked with the architect to develop two more ground floor versions and one for the upper floor. I would like to know which ones you find good or bad, and what you generally like or dislike about the floor plans?! Also, the pantry door is drawn a bit oddly; it won’t actually look like that...

What has changed compared to the previous version?

It is in #220, and I don’t see any changes on the ground floor (except possibly in the heating system?). In the upper floor, the washing machine and dryer have been moved into the bathroom, the shower and toilet have swapped places, and the sink has been repositioned to a different wall. The access hatch to the attic is now rotated by 90°. Unless I missed something in the overview, the changes are rather minor.

@11ant ... but actually, it is the responsibility of the person requesting the information to put these things together, not to force everyone else to review the entire thread again. Sometimes this carelessness really gets on my nerves.

Good morning,
Sorry for not adding anything earlier.
The bathroom window is a roof window.
The furniture we have fits well.
I didn’t make any changes to the kitchen because I was supposed to report on that in another thread.
This is now the final plan from the builder.
The purpose of this post is to see if anyone still finds any major mistakes or defects.
Nothing has been changed significantly, that’s true.
Just a few fine adjustments. However, this wasn’t possible in the last post either since the building permit / planning permission had already been signed.
I still appreciate your feedback.

I’m also one of those who don’t want to go through all 40 pages. So, my guess is: end-terrace or semi-detached house?

Having the washing machine in the bathroom has probably been criticized several times already. Since you’re planning it that way anyway, I would at least suggest installing the pipes for an alternative location on the ground floor. This way you stay flexible if you decide to change it later.

Other than that, it’s not outstanding but definitely usable.

Well, the question still remains where the bedroom wardrobe will go.
I would at least move the storage room by about 60cm (24 inches) so that the bedroom door can be repositioned.
Comparing the space for the storage room versus the space for the wardrobe, the latter clearly wins for me.

Or consider moving the windows... unfortunately, I can’t read anything from the drawing as the scale is far too small.

Semi-detached house done right!
And unfortunately, you’re probably right about the closet.. Moving the window is no longer an option.. The closet fits, but the window seems to be in the way.
