Hello! Last week, we visited a retailer and looked at the Parador Modular One flooring. It sounds interesting: plasticizer-free; lifetime warranty; integrated cork underlay for sound insulation.

Who has experience with it? During installation? In daily use; cleaning; maintenance; durability?

General question: How reliable is the label "without plasticizers"?
For example, Haro or Meister have certifications like Blue Angel. However, these are the only two manufacturers I have found so far.

Did you simply lay the flooring directly on the underfloor heating?

We really like this flooring as well. However, in the store, we were told that it’s not very suitable for underfloor heating because it isn’t glued down and the cork layer blocks the heat too much?!

Several people here have installed this flooring. Can you make sense of that statement? You probably have underfloor heating too and must have done some research. It sounds a bit suspicious to me...

Complete nonsense. We even added extra impact sound insulation in between and installed it as a floating floor. The flooring works perfectly!

freestyler, were you at Knudzen? We had them in mind as well and received the same advice as you—consistently recommending vinyl, which seems to be the company’s standard policy. K.

The Parador also has the Blue Angel eco-label... another option we considered was Ziro, which also had a certificate of harmlessness, which I thought was quite good...
