Hello! Last week, we visited a retailer and looked at the Parador Modular One flooring. It sounds interesting: plasticizer-free; lifetime warranty; integrated cork underlay for sound insulation.
Who has experience with it? During installation? In daily use; cleaning; maintenance; durability?

Hello everyone,
here is a photo of the cleaning water after mopping the floor (about 30 sqm (320 sq ft)) and the floor with the light streaks. Unfortunately, the light streaks are not very visible in the photo. In reality, however, they are more noticeable. The samples from Parador do not show this at all. We would not have chosen the floor if we had known.

@pffreestyler: Can you also tell when cleaning Oak Spirit?

Hello everyone,
the light streaks were already visible after installing the floor (July 2019), just as shown on the sample. It was only after we cleaned the floor several times in the following weeks (about once a week, using an all-purpose cleaner) that the light streaks became much more noticeable and brighter. This no longer matches what the samples and images on the Parador website show. The cleaning water still turns dark (as shown in the photo) when we mop the floor, even though it is clean. I wonder where the color (particles?) could be coming from if not from the floor itself. Before this floor, we had solid oak parquet for 29 years. We never experienced this issue with it. Additionally, we have laminate and vinyl floors in other parts of the house, and those do not cause any discoloration.

Hello everyone,
We have just stocked up on the Parador Design Modular One flooring, Oak Pure Pearl Grey, as a plank (size: 2200 x 235 x 8 mm (87 x 9 x 0.3 inches)).
Does anyone here perhaps have the same flooring and could share their experience or maybe even post some pictures?
We also have the issue that we want to lay it in the living room, continuing through a curved archway into the dining room. The problem is that to reach the tiles in the hallway, we are looking for an impact sound insulation with a vapor barrier, 4 mm (0.16 inches) thick, and we are not sure if it can run the full length of 9 meters (30 feet) or if we need to install an expansion joint at the curved archway.
Best regards,
Huddl
