Hello! Last week, we visited a retailer and looked at the Parador Modular One flooring. It sounds interesting: plasticizer-free; lifetime warranty; integrated cork underlay for sound insulation.
Who has experience with it? During installation? In daily use; cleaning; maintenance; durability?

Phorrd-863 Aug 2019 13:21Hello everyone, I am also very interested in the Modular One. After a major renovation, we have a lot of flooring to install, and overall it met our aesthetic expectations perfectly (wide plank, grooved joint, etc.).
Pffreestyler: Could you perhaps share which decor you have? (Maybe I just missed it somewhere).
Does anyone have experience using the Modular One in bathrooms? According to Parador, it is suitable for wet rooms (standing water for up to 4 hours). However, the local retailer seemed doubtful (though I wasn’t sure about their expertise) and didn’t trust it. Their reasoning was: it’s a new product, so they simply don’t believe in it.
In my opinion, 4 hours of standing water already sounds like a very long time. If a large amount of water remains for that long, having 5 m² (54 ft²) of swollen flooring would probably be my least concern. Still, does anyone have experience with this product in wet rooms?

Jan aus B4 Aug 2019 23:15Hello everyone,
thank you for sharing your experiences. Pffreestyler, could you possibly take a few more photos in daylight?
We currently have a few floorboards laid out as samples in the living room. Is the surface texture of the floor always slightly rough? This wasn’t the case with other design floors we tested (e.g., Wineo or TerHürne). Does this roughness cause any inconvenience in everyday use? I would appreciate any insights.

pffreestyler15 Aug 2019 09:26So, I took three more photos. Unfortunately, my basic phone doesn’t offer better quality.

The colors are quite close to reality.
Regarding the smoothness, I need to clarify a bit. It is smooth and not rough, but there are a few “mini indentations” that seem to mimic a natural wood texture. They are completely harmless and don’t bother at all.
