Hello! Last week, we visited a retailer and looked at the Parador Modular One flooring. It sounds interesting: plasticizer-free; lifetime warranty; integrated cork underlay for sound insulation.
Who has experience with it? During installation? In daily use; cleaning; maintenance; durability?

Complete nonsense. We even added extra impact sound insulation and installed it as a floating floor. It works perfectly with the floor! No one said it wouldn’t work, just that it might not be as good. I guess he meant poorer heat conduction. You could install the floor as floating with the 8mm thickness, right, without needing anything underneath?

freestyler, did you visit Knudzen? We also considered it there and got the same advice as you—consistently towards vinyl, seems to be company policy. K. No, Hagebau, but good to know they carry it too. We’ll get several quotes then. I definitely don’t want to pay the full retail price of 36.99 when others here paid around 30 €, and it’s even cheaper online.

Until now, I was always set on using tiles and definitely wanted the utility room, kitchen, hallway, and bathroom to be tiled. However, the look of the Oak Spirit natural plank flooring fits perfectly with the existing and planned furniture, which we haven’t been able to match as well with tiles. Additionally, it comes with a considerable cost saving compared to tiles, especially since we could install it ourselves. Hmm, I’m really torn right now about whether we should just cover everything with Parador flooring and only tile the bathroom. My girlfriend initially only wanted tiles in the bathroom anyway...
The screed will be installed next week, so we need to have decided by then.

Everything great despite the underfloor heating ....Not just despite, but also with it? Of course, from a purely physical standpoint, not tiles, but does the laminate absorb some of the heat and distribute it fairly evenly?
