Hello everyone, I’m planning to assemble an Ikea Besta cabinet soon and want to make the process as efficient as possible. Therefore, I’m interested in knowing: which tools should I always have on hand for an efficient Ikea Besta assembly? I am familiar with the included Allen key and also have a cordless drill, but what else is useful? Which aids make assembling the units easier, and is there any special tool recommended for the different types of connections in Besta? I’m grateful for any tips and recommendations, especially regarding tools that have proven helpful in saving time and avoiding frustration.

In summary: - Cordless drill with bit set - Allen key (included) - Phillips screwdriver - Rubber mallet - Clamps/workbench - Spirit level - Angle measure

In my opinion, this list is very complete and practical. I recommend paying attention to the quality of the tools to avoid damaging the furniture surface. When using clamps, it’s especially important to work with felt pads. It’s also worthwhile to have all tools ready and organized before starting assembly – this saves time and reduces stress. If several people are assembling together, they can work on modules simultaneously, which is much less efficient without good tools.
