Hello everyone, I am currently planning my kitchen setup using the Ikea Metod system and am considering whether to use the Ikea Metod assembly service. I would like to hear about your specific experiences with this assembly service.

I am particularly interested in the following points:
- How reliable are the installers in terms of punctuality and accuracy?
- Was everything assembled without damage, even with more complex parts like pull-outs and drawers?
- How is the on-site communication, for example, do they ask for or suggest solutions when questions arise?
- Have there been any hidden costs or additional services that were charged separately?

Perhaps you also have tips on how to prepare well for the appointment to ensure everything runs smoothly. I don’t want the assembly to become a problem but to be carried out as professionally and neatly as possible.

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

I have used the Ikea Metod assembly service twice. Both times they worked punctually and neatly. There was no damage. It is important to clear the room beforehand and have the parts organized and ready.

Regarding my experience with the Ikea Metod assembly service, I can add the following:

- Appointment reliability is generally good, with minor delays of 15 to 30 minutes occasionally occurring.
- In terms of assembly quality, all specified components including drawers, pull-outs, and doors are professionally installed according to numerous reports.
- The assemblers usually communicate clearly and ask questions if anything is unclear, which I have also experienced personally.
- Additional costs can arise if extra parts outside the initial order need to be installed, but this is typically discussed in advance.

My advice for preparation: Make sure all parts are complete and undamaged, and provide enough space for assembly. This greatly facilitates the process.

I was really lucky with the assembly service! The installers were very friendly, extremely fast, and worked very cleanly without any stress or chaos at my home.

They were quite punctual and very precise! It was really enjoyable to watch everything come together bit by bit. I can only recommend maybe providing some refreshments – it creates a good atmosphere!

If something does go wrong, just address it directly; solutions are usually found quite easily. So don’t hesitate, I was genuinely impressed!

A few tips regarding the Ikea Metod assembly service from my perspective that help ensure a smooth process:

- Preparation: Lay out all screws, dowels, and fittings beforehand. Avoid making the installers search for parts during assembly.
- Access to the room: Ensure clear pathways and enough space to set up so the assembly can proceed efficiently.
- Communication: If it’s unclear where a part should go, clarify this with the installers early on. They have experience but can only work correctly if they receive adequate information.
- Avoiding errors: Before booking, check that the correct quantity and all parts have been delivered – repairs or additional deliveries take longer and can disrupt scheduling.

Summary: The overall experience with the assembly service is usually positive if you are well prepared and communication on site works smoothly. Unexpected costs are rare, but if you want extra services, be sure to discuss these explicitly.
