Hello everyone,

we need to choose an internet plan from Telekom by Tuesday.
Which option is sufficient for young people? Magenta M?

What did you choose? Or did you go with a completely different provider?
We are in a new development area. Telekom is offering a construction bonus of 400 euros.

Thanks for your answers.

HES stands for Hessen, right?
Hessen is located quite close to Albania, isn’t it?

But only just.
At least our house was imported from the north.

Installation went fine for us, and once the telecom company gets it up and running, the connections usually work really well. With the service provider, it’s definitely a much better experience.

Did the Magentakings ask you for money? I mean, actual money. I have had an invoice from them for weeks. They have a SEPA mandate and want to withdraw 800 euros (about 870 USD), they want to... but don't do it. December 4th! Okay.

It seems it can always get worse. Sad.

Hello

It can get worse. Much worse.
I have a nightmare story with O² that no one would believe. I don’t want to write it all down here—it’s too long and unbelievable.
Just the conclusion:
So, I canceled O², received confirmation of cancellation, and the service was disconnected. Fine. But O² kept charging me. I complained, and they always assured me the charges were incorrect and the money would be refunded. But it wasn’t. After the third wrongful charge, I reversed the payment. Then things started moving at O². Reminders and threats that they would block my connection. Huh? I already had no connection for months. The hotline usually acknowledged everything. Still, the reminders kept coming. Eventually, a collection agency got involved. They also saw everything but said O² insists on payment.
At some point, O² or the collection agency realized the claim was invalid because the charges were unjustified. So, the charges were canceled, but they still wanted to collect the late fees. We were at about 180 euros. Suddenly, that went up to 300 euros. I asked why. Now they wanted payment for the router. Luckily, I still had the receipt for returning it. So, the router payment was canceled too, but the late fee for the router was added on top of the late fees for the wrongful charges. They insisted on those fees regardless. They made proposals for payment in installments—just over 200 euros in 12 monthly payments. I told them to sue me. Then they offered a goodwill settlement: I should pay 39 euros and everything would be settled. I told them to sue me again. After that, I stopped responding. This was three years ago. Eventually, they stopped contacting me.
It felt like a satire. Never again O²
