we need to choose an internet plan from Telekom by Tuesday.
Which option is sufficient for young people? Magenta M?

What did you choose? Or did you go with a completely different provider?
We are in a new development area. Telekom is offering a construction bonus of 400 euros.

That may not be correct! If the telecom provider, as in our case, has deployed fiber optic in an area, they usually have an exclusive right to contracts for the first 24 months. This is the case here.

Our contract is called m, offering up to 50,000 (50k) internet speed, unlimited phone calls, and some extra features that nobody really needs. In a speed test, the internet speed is around 40 Mbps, which is acceptable. Nobody needs more than that. I always find it amusing how Nordlys generalizes from their own situation to all of humanity... You might not need more than a 40 amp line, but for us, that wouldn’t be nearly enough anymore.

Actually, here the telecommunications provider has exclusive rights.... Since we have two gaming PCs, we will probably choose the 100 Mbps option after all... I hadn’t even considered that.

Yes, according to the website, the 400-euro (about 440 USD) builder’s bonus is still available until Tuesday, 06.02.18. However, similar deadlines have been extended several times before. According to a phone call, you receive this bonus if you order the house connection by this deadline. But I don’t have any written confirmation of that. And who knows what they say during calls. In my opinion, you only get the bonus if you sign a two-year contract with Telekom and have the house connection through them.
