Hello everyone,
we need to choose an internet plan from Telekom by Tuesday.
Which option is sufficient for young people? Magenta M?
What did you choose? Or did you go with a completely different provider?
We are in a new development area. Telekom is offering a construction bonus of 400 euros.
Thanks for your answers.

That’s true.
That was quite a situation. So, the empty conduit was already installed. I told the people from the network company, “Leave the trench open. Next week, the utility company is coming with gas and water; they will dig it up anyway... and they will almost certainly hit your power cable.” That always happens. The network company guy laughed and said he wasn’t allowed to, due to accident risk. I said, “It’s my land, I take responsibility, just put up a warning light or something.” He was convinced... so the trench stayed open.
Then I called the building owner service at the telecom company, talked to them, explained the trench was open, the empty conduit was in place, and next week gas and water work would happen. I said, “Please send the fiber optic casing through now.” They agreed.
Imagine what happened next. A lady from the telecom company gave me the mobile number of the site manager from the company in Kiel that installs those casings for telecom. She said, “Try your luck.” I tried. The site manager said they were nearby and ready to go. I said, “Everything is open and ready.” We had about a one-week window. We also pulled a pilot rope through the empty conduit; the network company people did a great job. And what can I say—two days later, the fiber optic casing was inside the house.
It didn’t really help much though. The whole process still dragged on until December.

winnetou789 Feb 2018 22:33Very pragmatic on my part,
I called to arrange for digging to lay water and electricity into the house.
The earliest appointment was only possible five weeks later.
The next day, the subcontractor from the telecom company installed cables into the house.
We laid everything ourselves.
Five weeks later, they connected it at the street and installed their utility box inside.
Paid 799 or 899 euros for doing almost everything ourselves.

But being finished is what counts. Whatever those people in southern Germany have to deal with at MagentaServiceking, we're still better off.Hey, I have nothing to do with southern Germany!
