I’m looking for white, panel-style sliding doors for built-in wardrobes. I’ve already found the tracks – "Horus" – (each wardrobe will have two sliding doors hanging from the top and sliding past each other). Now I need the doors themselves – affordable, white, not solid wood, without tracks, and without pre-drilled holes. I can find these in England for £30–£60 at places like Homebase/B&Q, but shipping them here costs around £1000 if I don’t have someone send them. In Germany, I haven’t found any without tracks or pre-drilled holes so far, and those with tracks cost around €400. One website even offered custom-made double sliding doors for €990 :O Each bedroom will have about two such doors, so we will need at least eight. You can find examples by googling “bypass closet.” Is there possibly somewhere else I should look? Is there a specific term for doors that aren’t pre-prepared for installation? Thank you very much for your help 🙂

Now I really need the doors – affordable That’s probably not going to be possible, especially because:
white is a very broad term. White coated? If so, with melamine, lacquer, or foil...?
not solid wood would mean that there has to be a substrate to apply the above coatings. Particleboard, MDF, or HDF panels are usually used as carrier boards for sliding doors.
In my opinion, prices of £30–£60 do not indicate what I would call very good quality. Furthermore, I believe the sliding door systems you mentioned might be sufficient, but in that price range, they tend to be quite basic. For comparison, you could look at, for example, Top Line systems from Hettich.
Also, as you requested, style sliding doors can be manufactured in various ways, which naturally affects the price.
That is why I recommend getting quotes from a carpenter or joiner based on your specific requirements, especially if you need custom dimensions.
