Hello.
I want to completely cover the back wall of my new garage with shelving. The wall is just over 5 meters long (16 feet). Until now, we had boltless shelves with metal shelves from OBI. I no longer like them because the legs stand on the floor and the shelves are noisy. The new shelving should be wall-mounted only and have wooden shelves. It would also be great if there were accessories available, such as a clothes rail or a shoe holder.
Can anyone recommend something?

It’s been a while, but what did you end up deciding on in the end, @Knallkörper?

In the end, I went with the IKEA Algot system. It’s easy to assemble, has wooden shelves, and is sturdy. I’m satisfied. I chose a total length of 5 meters (16 feet). There is also a planner available on their website.

I thought you were going for the metal version. If Ikea does a good job, there’s nothing wrong with that. 🙂 Personally, I’m currently waiting for my TYLKO wooden shelf, but for the living room.

Wood is always the better choice! 😉
