In our northern region, the staircase, the bathroom, another bathroom, the toilet, and the entrance are located. Rooms along the north wall with east and west-facing windows are the master bedroom (east), office (east), and children’s room (west).

A walk-in closet and bathroom would not be a bad idea. Then one of the children’s rooms could be moved to the south.

We also have a garden on the north side, which is why the living room on the ground floor (as the connection to the garden) is oriented northwest. Otherwise, there is only a toilet and a utility room.
On the upper floor, our master bedroom is on the northwest side and the bathroom on the northeast side. The attic contains a storage room and a bathroom. All the children’s rooms face south. They spend significantly more time there than we do in our bedroom or bathroom…
I would also recommend placing the children’s rooms facing south.
