ᐅ New Versions of RATIONELL Ventilation Units

Recently, on the websites of IKEA Austria and Switzerland, a third version of the RATIONELL drawers/slides has appeared. Until now, the original versions by Blum were sold there. The new versions seem to come from a different manufacturer. I suspect Manuex (FGV)? Does anyone have more detailed information about this? Will these also be available in other countries?
If a successor to Faktum is planned, it seems unlikely that such a change would be introduced shortly before, especially if the slides were also changing. Do these remain the same in terms of shape and dimensions?
Now I’m curious if anyone can or is allowed to comment on this.

Recently, I was surprised to learn that the Rationell drawer slides are no longer produced by either Blum or Hettich for some countries, but this makes more sense when looking at the pictures of Metod.
The METOD drawers with metal side panels (there will also be wooden ones similar to those used in Pax) correspond to Blum’s Tandembox antaro. One photo even shows that they come from Blum.
If Blum is now manufacturing the slides for IKEA in larger quantities, their production capacity might not be sufficient to continue supplying the markets that previously received the current Rationell slides. Until now, the Hettich variant was sold in Sweden, Norway, and other countries.
Let’s see whether in Germany we will get the original or another limited version from Hettich.
