ᐅ New kitchen appliances at IKEA starting at the end of February?, mixer tap / single-handle faucet

Hello dear community,

a few days ago, I bought a new kitchen at IKEA. While I was at my local store, I noticed that many ovens were discounted (fortunately, mine was too). The sales assistant mentioned that new models will be coming soon. Does anyone have more detailed information about this?

What I find quite unfortunate is that the HJUVIK faucet is being discontinued, at least in its current form. The sales assistant checked all stores in Germany and confirmed there are no remaining stock items. Does anyone know if this type of faucet is being completely discontinued or if an improved model will be released by the end of February? I wanted to order exactly this faucet. I should have acted faster...

As far as I know, Hjuvik won’t be returning. At least definitely not in February.

Originally, it was also said that Aleskär wouldn’t come back, but it has been in the showrooms again for a few days.

So, never say never when it comes to Ikea! 😉

Regarding the electrical appliances, please be patient until February. There isn’t much to report in terms of major changes; a lot of focus is placed on design, and many ovens will now come with a factory-installed “feature” that has been frequently requested. There are no handouts available yet—those will also only be available starting in February. The showrooms are already undergoing renovations, so you can already get a glimpse of the new appliances and possibly buy them. About the oven you purchased, I have to say you got a real bargain. Great price and on top of that, a 5-year warranty. So don’t be disappointed. 😉

Hmm.. I also like the Aleskär a lot. That’s the one I would choose. I haven’t seen it in any furniture store near me yet. I can’t find it in any catalog either. Is it sold only regionally, or will the Aleskär soon be available in all furniture stores?

I got a great deal on the stove, and hearing that the new models aren’t much different makes me feel like I made the right choice 😉

Aleskär should be available throughout Germany. Just ask at the local hardware store, or write here which house model you wanted to buy one for, and I’ll check for you.

By the way, it seems the IKEA website is currently being redesigned. You enter names or item numbers and find nothing, even though the products are in stock at the store. I expect this will settle down after the ADS system update by the end of January. So, just because you don’t find it online doesn’t automatically mean it’s not available in the store. 😎
