ᐅ Is the new IKEA Galant series already available?

could someone here possibly tell me when the new Galant furniture from IKEA will be available? Or is it already possible to view the range online somewhere?

All the new products – including Galant – will launch in April. However, I think only employees will get to see them beforehand. From what I have seen so far, mainly new drawer units will be introduced. I need to take another look at them tomorrow.

So, in addition to the drawer units, there will also be shelves and cabinets in various versions (for example, printer cabinets and tambour door cabinets). Since Effektiv is being discontinued, this gap will likely be filled with these new items. At least from the pictures, they already look very good.

I work at Ikea Vienna and have the information from our database. We have all the new products listed there.

I am currently planning the furnishing for our office. I have relied on the entire Effektiv series (which is unfortunately being discontinued, so I can no longer get doors for my cabinets).

My question is: do the dimensions of the base cabinets remain the same or similar? In other words, is it possible to combine the old Effektiv with the new one?

You should definitely avoid using "effective" here, as the measurements will change. It’s best to wait a bit longer until the new products are available. I believe every consultant will be happy to provide insight into what’s coming since most of the items are already entered into the system and many are even available. At least here in Vienna.
