I have thought it over once more and have come up with another possibility for how to orient the house: What do you think about this?
For some background: the existing houses in the row behind (blue at the top) are slightly rotated toward the south because their plots are shaped like skewed parallelograms rather than rectangles.
My new plot is rectangular – but somehow it seems that by “rotating” the house, a bit more garden space is created. The lower right corner of the house could be shifted further to the right, as there would still be space behind it for the entrance, so it wouldn’t have to be located in front of the garage (distance). It does look a bit unusual.
The blue house to the left does not exist yet, but in the worst case, this is how it would look.
What do you think about this compared to the previously shown vertical alignment parallel to the property boundary?
