Can I also install this refrigerator in the Metod kitchen system?
The built-in refrigerator is from Whirlpool.
The cabinet door dimensions are approximately W 59.2cm (23.3 inches), H 90.0cm (35.4 inches).

You cannot fit a refrigerator that is 59.2cm (23.3 inches) wide into an appliance cabinet from most kitchen manufacturers because these cabinets are typically 60cm (23.6 inches) wide minus the thickness of the two side panels. Depending on the manufacturer, the internal width of the cabinet is usually between 56cm (22 inches) and 56.8cm (22.3 inches). For example, the internal width of an IKEA Metod cabinet is 56.4cm (22.2 inches). A built-in refrigerator is usually even narrower, depending on the hinge system used and the space it requires.
I doubt that a refrigerator with a width of 59.2cm (23.3 inches) is a built-in model.

Schmidti8216 Aug 2016 10:12Is the refrigerator currently inside a cabinet?
Is the 59.2 cm (23.3 inches) the width of the actual refrigerator door or the cabinet door?
If it is a built-in refrigerator: yes, it will also fit into Metod. You only need a 100 cm (39.4 inches) front for that.

So, do I need to use a 1-meter (39-inch) door?
Then my question would be answered if everything fits like that.

If the current refrigerator is already installed INSIDE a cabinet (that’s how I understand it), simply measure the internal distance between the two cabinet walls there. This must be at least 56.4cm (22 inches).
If it is a freestanding refrigerator instead of a built-in one, usually the depth will not fit either. And the ventilation will be missing.
