YunyMoonHello everyone,
I bought a Pax wardrobe with Bergsbo frosted glass doors. Now I'm a bit uncertain about how to best drill the hole for the door knob. I've never drilled doors with glass inserts before, and I'm afraid the glass might crack. Is there anything I need to keep in mind? Or do you have any other tips?
I would appreciate any advice.

If you do decide to drill into the glass, use a glass or diamond drill bit, a flat surface, secure fixation, some tape to provide a clean starting point for the drill, no hammer function, sufficient coolant (you can create a small "pool" around the hole with putty or a similar material), gentle pressure (friction heat will break the glass), slow speed, and go very slowly when penetrating the glass.

If it is tempered safety glass, there is usually a corresponding symbol in one corner.
If it is tempered, drilling a hole afterward is definitely not possible!
