rene1706Hello,
I have a kitchen with a plinth height of 21cm (8 inches). Now I am facing the challenge of installing the dishwasher Hjälpsam. However, it looks very out of place in its gap. The built-in legs are unfortunately too short to screw it up to the countertop. I couldn’t find any information on Ikea’s website about how to handle this, and the user manual didn’t help either.
Does anyone have a tip on how I can properly support my dishwasher?
Many thanks in advance.

you can simply place a piece of wood or something similar about 4-5cm (1.5-2 inches) high under the legs of the dishwasher. Dishwashers don’t move nearly as much during operation as, for example, a washing machine. Just add a front kickplate, and you’re done. If you use adjustable legs, raise the dishwasher to the desired height and build a plinth in steel color or matching the front panel around it.
