I have both Metod and Faktum cabinets. Can I install Rationell drawers (80cm wide) in a METOD cabinet and vice versa? I would of course drill new holes, but how does the internal clearance compare between the two systems? Since everything is still packed at the moment, I would like to know in advance if it will work or not.

the METOD carcasses are 2 mm (0.08 inch) wider than those of FAKTUM. I installed a Maximera drawer in a FAKTUM cabinet and it works.
The RATIONELL drawers made by Hettich might be more sensitive to such differences, but this is not a big issue because you can place a 1 mm (0.04 inch) thick panel of any material between the cabinet rail and carcass if necessary.
