Hello everyone!
We want to build a wall unit. The lower part should consist of IKEA Metod base cabinets with IKEA Veddinge fronts. Pallet wood (refinished) will be screwed on top. Additionally, we want to hang a display cabinet above the lower section. I really like the Besta display cabinet (glass and Lappviken front) there. But then we would have two different types of fronts. Do these go well together?
We prefer Metod cabinets to keep costs down and because they offer more flexibility in width.
Or do you have any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

There are different front panels.
Veddinge: MDF wood, fully painted with sanded edges, also suitable for kitchen use.
Lappviken: particleboard with foil coating and ABS edges.
Visually, the different edges alone show that these are different front panels. Even in reflected light, sanded and painted MDF fronts like Veddinge look nicer than foil-coated particleboard.
Whether the white color tone is the same, someone else might be able to answer that for you.
