ikeafrust20 Mar 2010 23:54Hello, we are really frustrated. We almost managed to assemble 2 Ikea Pax 75 wardrobes with sliding doors. However, when hanging the rear sliding door, it keeps falling off, even though we try to fit it in at the bottom first and then at the top. Help, what are we doing wrong?
Yes, I feel the same way. Could it be due to a slight tilt of the cabinets?
In my case, I can easily hang the back door, but if I, for example, slide it to the right, it comes off the track again.
Why does Ikea make the track 2mm (0.08 inches) high? If it were lower, it might work.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

I know now what the issue was. For me, the right roller couldn’t sit properly in the track because this gray plastic locking part, which is supposed to be tilted during installation, was in the way. So, you have to fold it back correctly and then hook it in, ideally checking from above to make sure the wheel is properly seated in the track. It’s best done with two people—one holds, the other watches.
I hope this helps you.

Hello,
thank you. In the meantime, I had already figured this out. We also had the problem that the gray lock does not move under the track but in front of it. I folded the lock away, moved the sliding door a bit, and then the door locked into place properly. After that, you can engage the latch again (this time the lock is under the track), and voilà: the sliding door can be moved without coming off the track.
Many thanks for the help, and I hope my solution can assist others as well.
Best regards
