Hi,
first of all, a warm hello – this is my first post.
I would appreciate some advice regarding the Pax sliding doors – has anyone recently assembled them? I’m currently putting together a Pax unit and like the Sekken frosted glass panels themselves, but they are still quite transparent. Is it possible to place or attach something behind them to make it look neat and fully opaque? Cardboard, wallpaper, film, for example. I think you probably need to cover almost the entire panel so it stays in place and doesn’t look messy. An alternative would be custom panels. If you have the exact dimensions, I assume that should also work?
Best regards & thanks

if it shouldn’t be translucent, why don’t you use the MEHAMN, AULI, Färvik, UGGDAL, ILSENG, or INFJORDEN panels?

Hi,
I find frosted glass quite attractive, especially if there is something white (possibly with a pattern?) behind it. On the other hand, the Innfjorden costs a solid 280€ more than the Sekken, which becomes noticeable with two cabinets. If this can be solved by simply inserting a cardboard backing, that would be ideal!
Good luck

Herr rossi11 Feb 2015 21:36Hi Psychod, you can protect the frosted glass panes with a thin self-adhesive film before assembly. The panes are slid into the profile and then secured with short rubber wedges. I don’t think there should be any problems.
