ᐅ IKEA PAX - Drawers are difficult to open and close

Hi!

I have another question—this time about the drawers that are slightly angled at the front.

I find that mine are relatively hard to open. Is there a way to adjust them, or will they become easier to use over time?

take out the drawer and check if the runners move smoothly. If they don’t, they are not functioning properly.

Well, what is smooth-running is probably the opposite of what you describe as stiff. The drawers should be as smooth-running as, for example, your kitchen drawers.
A gentle push should be enough to make the drawer roll back quietly. If not, I would suggest exchanging them, as drawers that stick are a real nuisance.

Are there multiple drawers? If so, it is unlikely that all the slides are faulty. Therefore, the question is whether the ease of sliding with the drawer inserted is different from that of the slides alone.
