I have assembled my Ikea Metod drawers several times by now, but I noticed that they sometimes operate quite stiffly. The rails were installed exactly according to the instructions, yet the drawers do not slide smoothly, and often I have to apply considerable force to open or close them. Can anyone explain what might cause this? Could it be installation errors, material defects, or is there something that can be done to improve the sliding action?
