Hello everyone,
I have recently moved and wanted to expand my Pax wardrobe with a corner unit – so off to IKEA I went.
The corner frame was in stock but marked as "sales stop." So far, no one could tell me if the item will be available again. An email to IKEA went unanswered, and the staff member I spoke to on the phone had no idea.
Alright, I thought, and decided to get the corner extension unit, which is only available for the larger frame. I bought the frame, but the corner unit was no longer for sale—a shrug from an IKEA employee and I was completely frustrated.
Does nobody have corners at home anymore???
Before I throw everything around in frustration, can someone tell me if anything new is coming? I read somewhere that something might be released in a few weeks. However, IKEA told me that is not the case and nothing similar is planned.
Good luck

The corner will definitely come back, Mav is right.

What I suspect is that a small installation issue caused a sales stop, and the corner unit will only be sold again in Germany once this is resolved.
Specifically, there is a problem with the doors, as they leave a small gap on the left and right sides through which you can see inside the frame. Here, this is now solved with rubber seals, and I expect that it will be similar in Germany.
So, just be patient; it’s better than getting upset about a product defect, as customers here understandably did at first.

Hello!
I have a similar problem. I was actually planning to outfit my closet space with PAX wardrobes next week and have been very frustrated to find out that the deep corner unit is no longer available.
Will the deep corner unit definitely be back? At Ikea in Vienna, I was told that the new corner unit with a depth of 35cm (14 inches), which I don’t like at all and which wastes a lot of space, replaces the old corner element.
