I have recently moved and wanted to expand my Pax wardrobe with a corner unit – so off to IKEA I went.
The corner frame was in stock but marked as "sales stop." So far, no one could tell me if the item will be available again. An email to IKEA went unanswered, and the staff member I spoke to on the phone had no idea.
Alright, I thought, and decided to get the corner extension unit, which is only available for the larger frame. I bought the frame, but the corner unit was no longer for sale—a shrug from an IKEA employee and I was completely frustrated.
Does nobody have corners at home anymore???
Before I throw everything around in frustration, can someone tell me if anything new is coming? I read somewhere that something might be released in a few weeks. However, IKEA told me that is not the case and nothing similar is planned.

So, in my opinion, the deep corner will not return; there is only the one corner now. I work at IKEA Vienna North, and even in previews of new products, there is no information about the old corner coming back.

That’s really unfortunate and, in my opinion, makes the Pax system much less appealing. If only there were a 58cm (23 inch) version of the new design as well...
The next thing I find strange is that the 35cm (14 inch) cabinets are now only available with a white carcass – I thought I had a good alternative and would use one 58cm (23 inch) unit and a 35cm (14 inch) one, but I don’t like the white carcass at all, and dust shows up immediately. By the way, I noticed this at the IKEA Wien Nord store, where a lot of dust is visible on the white carcass. Aside from that, I actually prefer the Wien Nord store to the SCS, mainly because I have almost always received competent advice there so far.

We already have one, and there was a rubber seal on the door even then—I think we’ve had it for at least 2 years. I don’t understand why a gap issue is only being discovered now. Recently, I still saw the corner part on the website, but when clicking directly it gave an error message, and now it’s not visible at all. Help, we’ve moved rooms and if I can’t get the corner part now, I have a real problem. I also couldn’t find anything in various classified ads.
